The successful candidate must be able to perform service work and preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC mechanical equipment. The Technician must be able to complete necessary paperwork accurately, work independently, communicate effectively and proactively make decisions on appropriate work to be performed. To qualify, candidates must have previous experience and training in HVAC systems and a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.  20% overnight travel.

The ideal candidate will also have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and must possess excellent organizational skills. The selected candidate will primarily focus on selling applied equipment product lines and services.
 
Additional responsibilities include:

• Selling commercial HVAC products & solutions to new and existing customers.

• Responding to customer needs by identifying systems, products, generating quotes, estimating and closing orders to meet agreed-upon sales goals.

• Communicating with contractors, engineers and manufacturers throughout the project including writing scope and quote letters, verifying that equipment is available to complete project, and maintaining current price sheets.
 
To qualify, candidates must have strong HVAC systems knowledge, solid problem solving and proven negotiating skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and excellent, working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Degree in mechanical engineering strongly preferred.
